Join the PRI
Board of Directors.

The Board sets the strategic direction of the Institute. We meet quarterly. The role is voluntary — directors are not paid for their time — but serving directors receive complimentary PRI certification and annual renewals for the duration of their term. We are broad, seeking representation from every APAC market and every discipline within operational resilience. If you've spent a decade or more in the field and want to shape the standard, apply.

The role

Govern the standard. Not run the business.

Directors set strategic direction; the Registrar and faculty run day-to-day operations. The commitment is real but bounded — four quarterly virtual meetings and the occasional regulator-facing position. You are appointed for your judgement and your network, not for hours-at-desk.

  • ·Attend four quarterly board meetings (virtual, ~3 hours each).
  • ·Set the strategic direction of the Institute — curriculum, regulatory engagement, regional priorities.
  • ·Represent your market and discipline in deliberations; surface what practitioners in your region actually need.
  • ·Review and approve standards, the code of ethics, and SCRO conferrals.
  • ·Act as an ambassador for PRI within your market and professional community.
Market representation

Every APAC market should have a seat at the table.

The Board is being seated to mirror the region it serves. We actively want applications from senior practitioners based in — or with substantive recent experience in — each of the markets below.

Not on the list? Apply anyway — if you operate in or across an APAC jurisdiction we've missed, we want to hear from you.

Discipline representation

Every discipline within operational resilience.

Operational resilience is a coalition, not a silo. We want directors drawn from across the disciplines that make up the field.

Operational risk

ORM leads, internal audit, controls testing.

Business continuity

BCM, crisis management, recovery testing.

Technology resilience

ICT, cyber, DR, SRE, platform reliability.

Third-party & supply chain

Vendor risk, concentration, nth-party mapping.

Regulatory & compliance

APRA CPS 230, MAS, HKMA, DORA, RBI guidance.

Crisis & incident command

Live incident leadership, regulator-facing comms.
