Pacific Resilience Institute

Setting the standard foroperational resilience across the Asia‑Pacific.

The independent professional body raising the standard of operational resilience practice across Asia-Pacific — and, through the practitioners we certify, the resilience of the region itself. Three credentials, one regional benchmark, awarded on demonstrated capability.

Operational resilience is the discipline that keeps the region's critical services running when things go wrong. PRI exists to set the standard for the practitioners who do that work.
The PRI charter
How the institute works

Learn. Demonstrate. Be recognised.

PRI separates learning from recognition. The Operational Resilience Course prepares people entering, refreshing or upskilling in the discipline. Credentials are awarded separately, on demonstrated capability against the PRI competency framework.

Courses prepare. Credentials recognise demonstrated capability.

Programmes vs credentials
01Course

Learn

02Assessment

Demonstrate

03Credential

Be recognised

ARO, CRO or SCRO — professional designations awarded on demonstrated capability, never on attendance or examination.

The credentials

Three credentials.
One regional standard.

ARO, CRO and SCRO are all awarded on demonstrated capability. ARO and CRO through competency-based assessment and a workplace evidence portfolio; SCRO through portfolio review and a formal Board interview. The PRI Operational Resilience Course is a separate offering — preparation, not a route to certification.
